Veteran Quality of Life Cycle.
One point of entry for local services, resources, personal support, follow-up and care.
Veteran Quality of Life Cycle offering any former or current military service member or family member a warm handoff to the service(s) they have earned. Guiding them through a continuity of resources to include: Benefits, Healthcare, Finance & Legal, Employment, Education, Family & Caregiver support, Community Involvement, Fitness & Recreation, and Sunset resources such as wills, hobbies & recreation, and burial benefits. We have partners from many different categories of support, that bridge and provide a continuum of care throughout the quality of life cycle pictured here. We understand that even after basic needs are met, our end goal is to have our former and current service members and their families happy, healthy and enjoying the community.
WHY? In a landmark assessment released in May 2014, under the auspices of the Community Foundation of Northern Virginia and the United Way, Deloitte found an “outpouring of support provided by a deep, diverse network . . .” of organizations like yours. However, the Deloitte study concluded with this question: “How can community-based providers have greater collective impact?”
THE NEED: Recognizing and appreciating the contributions of so many local services and resources we knew we had to take action and be the first organization to enlist and coordinate services in order to accomplishing what we believe is our joint complimentary mission. In fact, we think partnerships will empower each of our organizations to serve more effectively.
THEY DESERVE IT: You can, with one call, direct your former or current military service member/family in need to our network of services and know they will receive the highest quality personal care. We work only with vetted partners who have established relationships with us. This alleviates confusion and uncertainty, both for the referring organization and for the member in need.
OUR VISION: To serve the most vulnerable veteran population through personal case management and caring support. We aim to be the non-competitive organization that convenes all groups whose proven performance supports our Military community; inspires action; empowers collective action; and is an important part of a positive outcome earned by those who have served our nation. We invite you to join us!
