Mission
The mission is three-fold:
- We give our most vulnerable veterans the personal support and attention they need to access essential services and resources not otherwise attainable. These veterans are the elderly, disabled, health-challenged, and the underserved who struggle with understanding where to look, how to apply, and then receive services/resources. We comprehensively assess and case manage through our diverse network of local service providers who support: Urgent Needs, Healthcare, Family & Caregiver Support, Legal, Transportation, Finance and lastly Fitness/Arts/Recreation because improved quality of life is our goal.
- We are a coalition of community leaders, change agents, and donors focused on the shared mission of caring for and honoring our most vulnerable veterans. Together we serve veterans and families throughout Virginia providing services and ongoing support.
- We are a rally point for veterans/military/family and support volunteers who team up and provide for our most vulnerable veterans. We are more than a team of individuals we are family who share this essential mission and vision.
Vision
Be a collaborative efficient network of organizations who can focus on the solutions that support our most vulnerable veterans holistically and continuously. Leaving unnecessary competitiveness aside so we as a community can come together, leverage each other’s services and expertise in order to provide our honorable veterans the best possible quality of life.
